Michael Faries
Everyone has a hobby. In the case of Michael Faries, "hobbies" (plural) is more applicable. Between running a half dozen web sites, working full-time for a Fortune 500 company, plus maintaining a busy family life, we wonder where he finds the time! (Actually, the credit goes to Anthony Robbins's Personal Power training, plus "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Dr. Stephen Covey. No kidding, folks! It can be done! Give it a chance!)
Besides managing Space1999.org, Michael renders the artwork which appears on the page top banners, plus backgrounds of each page. He is a member of GA-MMA (the Gerry Anderson Model Making Alliance). His primary 2D tools are Photoshop and Painter; his main 3D tools are 3D Studio Max, Lightwave and Poser. (He hopes to learn Maya basics in the next year or two.)
