Episode Guide: Year Two

  1. "The Metamorph"
    Moonbase Alpha meets Mentor of the planet Psychon... and Maya.
  2. "The Exiles"
    The Alphans encounter spaceborn cylinders, bearing frozen prisoners from another world.
  3. "One Moment Of Humanity"
    Tony Verdeschi and Dr. Helena Russell are kidnapped by robots to the planet Vega, where their imperfect humanity may spark a revolution.
  4. "All That Glisters"
    As members of a Moonbase Alpha landing team seek a rare mineral for their life support systems, indigenous lifeforms take desperate measures to ensure their survival...
  5. "Journey To Where"
    A chance to return to Earth results in a time-travel mishap.
  6. "The Taybor"
    An extraterrestrial trader, Taybor, emerges from hyper-space onto the moon. And the Alphans are faced with his intriguing trade propositions, which may enable them to return to Earth.
  7. "The Rules Of Luton"
    Koenig and Maya are forced to fight for their lives when Koenig accidentally kills intelligent plant-based lifeforms on the planet Luton.
  8. "The Mark Of Archanon"
    A humanoid man and boy are discovered beneath the moon's surface, placed in stasis well before "Breakaway" took place.
  9. "Brian The Brain"
    A Swift spacecraft, launched from Earth years ago, intercepts the wayward moon. An artificial intelligence is at the helm... and there is no sign of the Earth crew. Further trouble ensues as Koenig and Russell are kidnapped.
  10. "New Adam, New Eve"
    A humanoid entity with remarkable supernatural powers meets the Alphans, claiming to have shaped humanity's origins on Earth. And now he wishes to start anew with another "Garden of Eden" -- using the Alphans.
  11. "Seed Of Destruction"
    An ice-cold replica of Commander Koenig takes control of the Moon - and orders its destruction.
  12. "The A-B Chrysalis"
    A planet on which people enter a chrysalis stage when they reach their allotted span....re-born, they attain new heights of mental and physical perfection.....but for Moonbase Alpha, the planet threatens disaster.
  13. "The Catacombs of the Moon"
    Dr. Helena Russell wages a desperate fight for the life of a girl whose husband has visions of Alpha being destroyed by fire....visions made all the more ominous when a fire storm sweeps towards the Moon.
  14. "Space Warp"
    Eagle One gets lost in space and, as if that isn't enough, Moonbase Alpha has problems of its own when Maya's ability to transform herself into any living being goes out of control.
  15. "A Matter of Balance"
    While exploring an apparently lifeless planet a member of Alpha's crew comes under the influence of an "anti-matter" being and suddenly all Alphans are in danger of having their futures swapped for the past.
  16. "The Beta Cloud"
    A mystery illness strikes the Moon. An eerie space-borne cloud utters a sentence of death. And a frightening space creature runs amok, intent upon carrying out the destruction.
  17. "The Lambda Factor"
    An Alpha technician dies a horrible and unexplained death. Dr. Russell's experiments reveal that one of the crew is possessed of paranormal mental powers and is trying to take control of Moonbase Alpha.
  18. "The Bringers of Wonder, Part I"
    Everyone on Moonbase is electrified by the arrival of a spaceship from earth. Everyone, that is, except Commander Koenig. Where the others see long-lost friends and relatives, he sees hideous aliens, bent on taking over the Moonbase.
  19. "The Bringers of Wonder, Part II"
    The visitors have plans for Moonbase Alpha, which Commander Koenig must quickly stop -- although almost no one believes him.
  20. "The Seance Spectre"
    A new planet is sighted, but is it habitable? By holding a seance, one of Alpha's crew becomes convinced that it is and tries to force commander Koenig to evacuate all Alphans onto "this new, green land."
  21. "Dorzac"
    A space ship arrives on Moonbase Alpha carrying a prisoner, whom Maya is astonished to learn is Dorzac, a survivor from her planet, Psychon. But can he, a man of peace, really be guilty of the crimes of violence for which he is being exiled?
  22. "Devil's Planet"
    Answering a distress signal, Commander Koenig is forced to crash-land his Eagle on Entra - moon of the planet Ellna - which turns out to be the planet's penal colony, and Koenig finds himself a prisoner of the beautiful Elizia and her equally beautiful prison guards.
  23. "The Immunity Syndrome"
    Commander Koenig and Co find what appears to be an inhabitable planet. But it is ruled by a single being who, in his efforts to make contact with the Alphans, unwittingly puts them in peril of their lives!
  24. "The Dorcons"
    The Dorcons - the most powerful race in the galaxy - demand that the Alphans hand Maya over to them. Koenig refuses, until Moonbase Alpha is savagely attacked and invaded! Then, having let them take Maya he makes a desperate attempt to save her.
